Welcome to LabelFacts. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they apply every time you scan a product or view a score.

About LabelFacts

LabelFacts is a mobile app that helps you understand what is really inside food, supplements, and personal care products. We scan barcodes, analyze photos, pull ingredient data from public databases (NIH, USDA, Open Food Facts and others), and calculate a LabelFacts Score from 0 to 100. Our goal is transparency — we are not a replacement for medical, nutritional, or professional advice.

Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use LabelFacts. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for any activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us right away.

Health Disclaimer

LabelFacts provides educational information only. A LabelFacts Score is not a medical diagnosis, nutritional plan, or endorsement. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet, medication, or health. We do not guarantee that product data is complete, accurate, or up to date — databases change constantly.

Data Corrections

We want product data to be right. If you believe a product's ingredients, score, or details are incorrect, report it with "Report incorrect data" on the product screen or email support@labelfacts.app. We review reports and correct verified data errors promptly; corrections are applied to the product record and reflected the next time it is viewed.

Subscriptions & Billing

LabelFacts Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. The available plans, their billing periods (for example weekly, monthly, or annual), and their prices are always shown in the app before you purchase. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — we never see your card details. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your device settings; refunds are handled by the store according to their policies.

Acceptable Use

Do not use LabelFacts to scrape, resell, or repackage product data, attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring model, upload illegal or infringing content, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Community Reviews & Moderation

LabelFacts lets you post star ratings and short written reviews of products. Every review — including the reviewer name shown with it — is checked against these guidelines before it is published. We do not publish, and we remove: spam or advertising; harassment, hate, or threats; content unrelated to the product; medical or disease claims; unverifiable factual accusations about a brand or product; someone else’s personal information; profanity; and links or contact details. You can report any published review from the review itself ("Report review") — we review reports and act on them within 24 hours. You can also block a reviewer to hide all of their reviews from your account. Repeated or serious violations may lead to content removal or account suspension. Intellectual Property

The LabelFacts app, brand, scoring methodology, and original content are owned by LabelFacts. Product names, images, and ingredient data come from third-party sources and remain the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

LabelFacts is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, inaccurate product data, or decisions you make based on scores. Your sole remedy is to stop using the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the app changes or when required by law. If we make a material change, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
